Now that we are back in California, my days have not been so exciting. My mom has been keeping me indoors this past week due to all the fires. She says the air quality is too bad for me to breathe. Dad has refrained from rolling his eyes (in her presence), but I think it has been a challenge.
I have done one exciting thing since getting back in town. A couple of weeks ago, we went to see Gran and Grandpa and spent some time at the El
Dorado County Fair. I saw lots of animals. And I had my first ride on a carousel. Some older kids were scared, but not me.
I rode the traditional way:

I rode with no hands:

And I rode standing up. i am such a daredevil:

My mom also rode a horse, but she held on the entire time

Another
reason why we have not done much is because it has been so HOT! and our house
doesn't have air conditioning. It got so bad one weekend, that my parents moved me
into their room...they have a small air
conditioner in there that they bought when mom was pregnant last year and always hot (now she is typically always cold). Anyways, they tried having me sleep in their big bed with them but I kept kicking mom in the head. Dad had the bright idea to make me a bed on the ground
Here I am napping in that bed. I am sleeping on a quilt. the pillow by my head is to keep me from hitting it on the end table and the 2 blue pillows behind me are the keep me from rolling under their bed. It was fun having my first
camp out

Speaking of "back in town", my parents good friends
matt,
marzia and baby
abby are finally back from
Switzerland. they spent 1 year there. they left before I was born and now baby
abby is no longer a baby. She is a big 2.5 year old little girl. She was very excited to meet me, as I was her and we became fast friends.
We held hands during breakfast (great shot dad, you could have at least waited until my eyes were open):

I loved her so much that i was like"come on over here and give me a hug"

That's what I'm talking about:

I hope to see her again soon
