October weekend fun

I had a big weekend this past week. lots of fun...and I even saw my daddy on sunday. he has been working very hard lately

Saturday morning, mom took me to the San Jose Children's Museum because it was raining outside and she wanted to get out of the house. She forgot to bring her camera which meant I could play without having to stop for photo-ops. it was freedom as I have never experienced before (and probably never will again).

That afternoon, we went to Miss Lily's place for a playdate. I rode her zebra, of which she is terrified:

I also got to sit in a small chair...my parents need to get me some of these:
Once I got home, I passed out on the carpet in the family room. I played hard so I had to recover.
Sunday morning we went to brunch in Menlo Park at Cafe Baronne. We met up with Auntie Jen, Uncle Aussie, Darlene, Greg and cutie Samuel. Good times were had by all.

Uncle Aussie sure makes funny faces:
Monkey See, monkey do
Going in for the killSweet baby love
All that kissing sure wears a girl out
Later I played in my princess tunnel that Abby (or Babby, as I call her) gave me for my birthday.

I see you mom:
I'm coming
We ended the weekend by going to the park and dinner in Mountain View with Abby (Babby), marzia and matt. we had a great time. Abby and I hugged a lot and held hands. We also rode a horse together:
At dinner I actually ate some chinese food and it wasn't pureed. my parents were so proud. My mom may have cried.

It was an exhausting but exciting weekend.

My favorite color

is blue

Fun at home & Roche family Fun Day

We've also had lots of fun at home and work in the past month

We went to Roche family Fun Day and had fun. There was a bounce houses, music, animals, foods and lots of good friends

I also got to ride my first horse. I was a bit unsure but I didn't cry at all.

I enjoyed riding the horse so much, that i rode my bike that my grandparents gave me when we got home. It kind of looks like a horse

Using a barrette to hold my dress up, since there really isn't enough hair on my head to wear the barrette
My mom let me feed myself. I did a pretty good job, don't you think

Fun with a balloon
Fun at the mall fountain
Mom, you take too many pictures
Auntie Pam came to visit me again. This time she came on her birthday...and brought me gifts. She brought me 6 books. How did she know I love books so much? And I also love Pam too. I cried when she drove away. i hope to visit her in Michigan soon
Cute in my dress

And that concludes this blog entry

Fun at Monterey Bay Aquarium

On Saturday, September 6th, the weekend before my mom abandoned me, we spent the day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is one of the best aquariums in the world. And no animals are required to do tricks for the public which makes mom feel better about going there. It is also one of the top marine biology research institutions and is affiliated with MBARI.

All i know is there were lots of animals and people to watch. I had a great time!

Daddy and I watching the fish:

Loving the sealions. I know how to speak "sealion" you know. Arf arf clap clap clap. We practice at home
Waiting for the baby great white shark to swim by. They released it into the wild the next day.

Anchovies:
Happy I am about to touch stuff
Touching starfish
Mom, is that a penguin? What sound do they make? Mom: "uhhh"

I think mom invents animal sounds.

Fun in the park and my mom's guilt

My mom apologizes for not updating the blog for so long. She has been really busy at work. And when not at work, she has been busy trying to appease her guilt for leaving me to go on a stupid business trip. She went to Houston and left me with dad...yeah, I am surprised I survived too. She was supposed to be gone for 4 days, but Mother Nature thought it was wrong for her to leave as well, so she conjured Hurricane Ike and mom was evacuated back home early. Luckily all her friends in Houston seemed to have survived ok from the hurricane and I got my mom back, so all ended up ok.

The nice thing about my mom feeling guilty is that she made sure we had lots of fun before she left and after she returned. We went to parks and aquariums and saw animals and rode horses. So maybe she should leave more often. Of course she photographed every second of our time together.

We will start with parks in this entry.

Dennis the Menace Park, Monterey, August 31st, 2008
This was a very cool park in Monterey, but I think I would appreciate it more when I am older. Cousins Sebastian and Isabelle will love this park and I will insist we go to it when they come for Christmas

Cool suspension bridge. When big kids would run on it, I would fall. Otherwise it was fun. Daddy helped me cross it
Going down the slide

Crawling through a tunnel

Cuesta Park, Mountain View, CA September 20th, 2008
We went to Cuesta Park for a baby shower (Congrats to the Jost Vuono family. Moana Flurina was born Friday, September 26, 2008).

Trouble

My mom fears she may be in trouble
