I am 3/4 today

What does being 9 months old (3/4 of a year!) mean to me? let me ponder
It means lots of fun!

Challenges that may seem out of reach

But it also mean relaxing and lounging and always looking up!
I AM 9 MONTHS OLD TODAY
and I love it

Little Lamb

Hey everyone!! I had quite the adventures this weekend. Let me tell you about them
The weather was beautiful so we spent most of it outside. On Saturday, we went to Ardenwood Farms to see the Baby Lambs. they were very cute...from a distance

but I was scared of them. daddy had to protect me. I did not want to touch them

The big sheep were even scarier. I wouldn't even look at them and I insisted Mom carry me everywhere
and later I hitched a ride on Daddy

I just preferred to people watch, so we did that for a while. And i played with my Daddy

On Sunday, we drove up to Mount Hamilton to see the Lick Observatory. It was beautiful up there. There was also a tour of the Lick telescope. I felt I had more interesting things to say than the tour guide, so i tried talking louder than him. mommy took me outside so she could hear me better. Daddy stayed and listened to the tour guide. His loss...I am way more fun than some old tour guide. Mom and I enjoyed the views, had great conversations, even though she kept complaining about allergies. She forgot to take pictures though.

I hope next weekend is as much fun as this weekend

Friends and Puppy

A couple of weekends ago, I had some new visitors. Dad's good friend Dev FINALLY came out to meet me. he flew in from New York. We had a good time together. We played

and he showed me what tonsils look like
Our friend and author Daniel Price ("Slick" available at your local b0okstore) also came to visit. He drove all the way from LA.
Uncle Huan also came to visit. we hadn't seen him since last year. My parents promise me that it wasn't anything I did. He is just too busy
Other exciting adventures in my life are the following

I am finally teething. I woke up at 5:00 am in the worst pain and cried for 2 hours straight. Once I finally calmed down, my mom started dressing me for the day. But I fell asleep while she was putting my tights on, but still hadn't fully taken off my pajama. I slept for close to 2 hours. I was exhausted
This picture was taken after I woke up and got dressed. I was happy again
And I could play with the stuffed dog Nona gave me
Here, my mom is reminding me to be gentle. We have been practicing so that next time I see Hattie the dog, she won't run from me

see, gentle
softly
Later at school, I patiently awaited my lunch:
Until next time

Easter 2008

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a happy Easter. i did! First, I learned that you can't pull off tights like you can socks

that made me a little upset

I also learned that lots of rolling makes me tired

But the best part of Easter was all the family I got to see! My Nona came to visit me for the weekend all the way from Miami. She arrived on Thursday and stayed until Monday. Daddy had Friday off from work (mom had to work), so Nona, Daddy and I had fun exploring the Bay Area.
That night, the Acevedos came over for dinner, Tia Vivi and Tia Mavy spent time holding me. I am getting spoiled!

On Saturday, we went to the San Jose Museum of Art where they were having a Picasso and Goya exhibit. Mom just doesn't "get" Picasso. She decided that we should do our own Modern Art:

We then went to the park where I got to play on the swings
And then we went home and I took a bath so I could be clean for Easter. Baths are fun. There are lots of toys involved

We went to Sacramento for Easter. I got to spend it with all my family. It was my parents, Nona, Gran, Grandpa, Great-Grandma and the great Uncles and Aunts. And of course, we cannot forget the dogs, Hattie and Maggie

Here I am with Gran and Great Grandma

Gran and Grandpa gave me an Easter gift. My favorite part was the tissue paper
And mom forced the dogs to play with me a little. I don't understand why they run from me. Don't they know that when I pull their fur, that means I love them?
But definitley the best part was spending time with Nona.

We had so much in common. We both slept on the way to Sacramento:

When we weren't sleeping together, we had lots to talk about
Nona also spoiled me a lot. She held me as much as I wanted
And even let me play with her necklace. My mom told me to be careful because the necklace was delicate and Nona told her to leave me alone. That I could play as much as I wanted

I love my Nona!
